If you caught a glimpse of our coverage of the ShoeZeum in Las Vegas, you would’ve noticed Air Jordan 4 insanity displayed all around the space. 5 pairs of ’85 originals in one display, a game-wo autographed pair in another, the uber-rare UNC colorway in another it was just a non-stop barrage of unbridled Air Jordan 4 dominance. Although we may have been a bit desensitized by the model considering Jordan Brand releases an AJ1 every month, this 2013 release will give the OG another jolt just like 2011′s Baed 1s did. Did you know that Air Jordan 3.5 Shawn Kemp, at age 39, attempted a comeback at basketball? This happened four years ago when he signed a contract with a team in the Italian League, but some unfortunate events involving his home and Hurricane Ike forced Kemp to retu home. That was the last comeback ever attempted by the Reign Man until Reebok decided to bring back Kemp in another form his signature shoes. It’s been a wildly popular release in 2013 thus far, and it’ll certainly continue in 2013 as we get a look at two spicy colorways in Neon/Black and a second ‘Iridescent’ colorway of the Reebok Kamikaze II. Here’s an update on another Air Jordan 3 releases to keep your Nike Presto eye on this Black/Purple/Volt kids-only release that is set for a release sometime later this year. Kinda spiing off of the earlier “Joker” releases, this version replaces the Electric Green for a much more distinguished Volt, with hits of a lighter purple and a refreshing pink on the Jumpman logo, lace eyelets, and ier face of the tongue. The wild colorway is indeed something more Nike Free Run 3 of a sneaker-custom rather than one we’d expect from Jordan Brand, but what’s your opinion on these? Japanese retailer United Arrows comes through once again with an exceptional design on a footwear classic the Nike Superstar. Following up on their New Balance 1500 of earlier this year, United Arrows transfers the simplicity of a sandy being suede and pairs it with a smooth and creamy off-white leather. The thin roped laces total the ultimate lifestyle appeal, as seen with the cuffed khaki pants combo. United Arrows is the only place to get ‘em, so head to their online shop for an overseas order after you flip through the gallery.

The wait is over, the Air Jordan 3 (3) Retro in it’s OG colorway of White and True Blue have finally been retroed and will be available shortly at select Jordan Brand retailers. The rumor is that these will not be sold in the Nike LunarGlide 4 US and will be an Inteational Release only, but we are waiting to confirm the rumor. This pair of Retro’s are almost identical to the pair that was originally released in 1988, but of course the difference like many of the Retro Jordan III’s and IV’s is that the “Nike Air” logo on the heel has been replaced with a Jumpman logo. Adding on to the preexisting Liberty Fabric Pack, Nike is dropping some more Womens’ Dunks using the same floral print as before. These particular models will come in Red/White and Yellow/White Nike Free 6.0 colorways. The yellow pair has the flower print on the outside of the shoe, while the reds have an ier floral lining. Nike actually purchased the fabric used in the shoes in this drop from the Liberty Fabric Company in England, famed for its high quality garments. Hey Foamposite heads are y’all ready for another camouflage-print pair of Foams? The answer seems obvious, but considering the $235 Fighter Jets didn’t exactly have sneakerheads ruing to the stores (and some stores still have them available Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 at retail), maybe the Green Camo Foamposite Pro won’t clear out of stores as fast as we originally anticipated. However, these have a true military appeal with classic colors on the camo print and the sick Gum outsole being a nice throwback to one of the OGs in 1997, so maybe this Green Camo Pro arguable a “Camo Foamposite” done right will be a bigger hit. There’s no confirmation if this version will be the final release, but it’s a safe bet at this point. We’d like to know if the Nike Air Foamposite Pro “Camo” will be a big draw, so let us know and stay tuned for more updates.

A black and red Air Jordan 11 would be an instant sell-out, correct? That might not be the exact case with the IE Lows, one of the few OG Jordans with a lukewarm following. It’s a lower-cut Air Jordan 4 with Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 vents on the upper (which might’ve served as an inspiration for the design of the Air Jordan 2011 Quick Fuse) and tumbled leather, and although the design of the shoe is rather unique, it never really captured the universal love that most other Air Jordans get. In any case, the OG colorway (with a translucent black outsole) retus as will a few new colorways, so if you never got on that XI IE Low tip, this summer’s the perfect opportunity to do so. The 2003-2004 NBA Season was the begiing to a major change for the Los Angeles franchise. It was the last season that Kobe and Shaq would be teammates, and it would be the last NBA Finals appearance for Kobe until he retued in 2008. It was also the year that Kobe consistently rocked Nike shoes, wearing the Zoom Huarache 2k4 in various PE colorways during the regular season and in Air Jordan 1 the NBA Finals the famed ’5-game sweep’ at the hands of the Detroit Pistons. Although not an original colorway of the H2K4, this Black/Yellow colorway would have cracked Kobe’s ’04 rotation due to the simple Black/Yellow colorway all it needs is a Kobe Shozoku logo on the heel! Don’t count on Bryant wearing these in the regular system because he’s got the Kobe System to support his feet, but don’t be surprised if you see these on the feet Nike Air Max Womens of his teammates! Supreme and Vans coect once again for this September 2013 capsule of footwear featuring the Sk8-Hi and Era. Each model arrives in three colorways anchored by the star-studded velvet sectional on the upper with black suede and soles acting as the standard for each option.  The Supreme x Vans Collection for September 2013 will release this September 12th in-store and online at the Supreme location in NYC, LA, and London followed by a Japan release on September 14th, so flip through the gallery below and stay tuned for the official drop later this week.

It seems as though many sneakerheads consider the Air Jordan 11 (11) their favourite more than any other. Sure, every model from the AJIII all the way through the Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 VIII were legends in their own right, but alot of us were wearing GS sizes when those came out. It probably didn’t hurt that the Bulls won an NBA record 72 games that year, and retro releases like the Space Jams keep the legacy alive.

So does this all white pair, which looks to be taken straight from the recently showcased white-on-white 25th aiversary collection. They’re supeova-hot with tumbled leather on the heel, something we’ve not seen from an AJXI. Metallic silver comes in on the heel tab and tongue, while the midfoot carbon fiber support is black. There has been a lot of Trainer buzz in the Nike world lately thanks to the recent unveiling of the Nike Trainer 1, and to coincide with the debut of the newest Trainer model, Nike is bringing us a new colorway of one of the classics that paved its way. This Air Trainer III sports a very clean look with a predominantly white leather upper that sports some perforations on the toe box and midpanel. The white base is offset by some scattered light grey accents, including a section of textured grid patte around the eyelets. The only real color comes Nike Free Run 5.0 by way of a rich orange patent leather Swoosh that really pops in contrast to the light foundation colors. These Air Trainer III’s are expected to hit select Nike retailers at the end of the month, so keep your eyes peeled for this nice crisp pair of summer kicks and be sure to check out some detailed close-ups after the jump.

If you read the last post, you already know where Dwyane Wade spent last Friday evening. As the honorary coach of the Bloom Township Blazing Trojans, D-Wade got back to his Chi-Town roots during the Bloom vs. Brother Rice Gatorade Replay game held at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. Wade was interacting with the crowd and pacing the sidelines all night in a black patent pair of the recently released Jordan L’Style II. We know that the Nike Air Pey II Retro is on the way in its ‘home’ atlantic blue and white makeup, and now here are a couple more shots.  The black and neon green Sole Collector 5th Aiversary joints are unquestionably dope, but you can’t go wrong with the original.  These were the first colourway released from Pey Hardaway’s second signature series, back in fall 1996.  The blue parts are suede, while a white fin extending from the midsole creates an elegant swooping effect.  Still no word on a concrete release date, so stick with Sneaker News for updates.  via LDRS1354

Any model compared to 1999′s legendary ‘Wu-Tang Clan’ Nike Dunk High is done so like a double-edged sword.  One one hand, the similarity to an all-timer is flattering and can help to build interest, though some purists might be disappointed.  So what say you on this new Dunk High in this reverse Varsity Maize and black getup we might refer to as ‘Un-Wu’ or perhaps ‘Uw-Tang’.  No matter the name, this is a shoe that’ll draw looks from those in the know, not to mention the attention-grabbing appeal of the high-contrast colorway.  Click though to see more and look for these at select Nike Sportswear retailers like Switzerland’s Titolo.

Sneaker News just showed you the Quickstrike release of a black and red Nike Pre Montreal Racer colorup, and the other originals are right around the coer with the rest of the lead pack.  This is a five-man relay team all incorporating Nike Sportswear’s VNTG pre-yellowing to great effect, the quintet roughly split between high-contrast colorways and those that rely on a tonal approach to their colorblocking.  We’ll start with the OGs, which include the USA edition as well as the Oregon Ducks-inspired Gorge Green and Yellow Orchid combo.  Somewhere in the middle is a nice black and grey look, and then we move toward a study of textural contrasts with Violet Pop, Fresh Mint, and your basic Black/White ruing the anchor leg.  NSW nails another vintage look by covering the whole spectrum from old school to current trends; only question is, which pair(s) will you lock up now at Nikestore?

As we move past 2012 into ’13, ’14 and ’15, we’ll be firmly in the mid-teens. Here’s a new forward-looking design from Nike Training that manages to blend design cues from each of the past two decades’ midsections into a shoe that will most definitely tu heads at your yoga class. The Nike WMNS Free Gym is built like an update to 1996′s Air Rift, this pair’s multicolored sole similar to several 2007 Nike Sport Culture drops continuing the mid-decade theme. And luckily, you won’t have to wait to get this futuristic trainer, as it’s available now from Nike Fukuoka in Japan.

We’re seeing a huge influx of red, white and blue sneakers for the Olympic summer, designs referencing both the United States and its past glories, as well as those designs inspired by this year’s host nation.  The first from Off the Wall is this 430 BMX x Vans Japan capsule leaning more on the latter side, a couple of Far East action sports conces coming together to craft a trio of London-flavored red-and-white-accented navy blue silos.  The Vans Sk8-Mid, Chukka Low and what’s likely a San Lucas slide have been blocked identically and each feature 430 branding on the footbed; do any of these stand out enough to warrant importing them upon next month’s release? via Unbar

Tinker Hatfield recently made a visit to Sole Fly in Miami for ‘askTinker‘, a Q&A session with the greatest performance footwear designer of all time. There’s a lot to lea from someone who basically laid the blueprint for the entire sneaker game, and the attendees most certainly left with a bit of extra Nike and Jordan Brand history known to just a few. Tinker starts off by showing off the new Jordan Trainer shoe the Jordan BCT Low, and then delves a bit further into Nike and Jordan Brand timeline and history. They’re so nice, even Kanye looks amazed! Here we have yet another closer look at the Nike Air Yeezy 2 in the Black/Pink colorway, unhindered by the flashing lights of a concert stage. Almost instantly you’ll notice the rich green hue emanating from the forefoot outsole, but perhaps that too is the product of the sun-less NYC daytime, bringing out the naturally darker tones. When we showed you these earlier today and last Nike Free 6.0 night, the outsole appeared to be a solid white with just a slight tinge of the minty green. Until we see detailed angles of the shoe, we won’t be able to fully determine the nature of the color, but for now, enjoy this new set of images of Kanye out and about NYC wearing what is likely the most anticipated shoe of the near future that’s if a release happens. via bauergriffin.

Has the excitement of the Air Yeezy 2 subsided yet? According to one t-shirt designer, not quite. Here’s a look Nike Dunk SB Mens at an Air Yeezy 2 t-shirt designed ‘all-over’ style, which should serve as a throwback to the late-2000′s era of similarly designed t-shirts; it’s got the Wolf Grey/Pure Platinum Yeezy 2s in a cascade of re-prints that spill over the edges of the sleeves, neck, and waist, but the design is rather demure compared to the asking price, which sits at a price tag of $90,300. It’s certainly a ‘What The Yeezy?’ as any other, but the seller notes that his price is negotiable because he will entertain ‘best offers’. Obviously, 90k for a unofficial Nike t-shirt is too high to be taken seriously, but the creator of the t-shirt, Wilfry, also made a recent splash for his ‘Art by Art Jacobs’ t-shirt, which became one of the more humorous stories in urban fashion circles a few months ago. Madden takes the cake when it comes to sales, but for quite a few years ruing now, the NBA 2K franchise has been praised by gamers and critics alike as topping the charts with respect to pure gameplay.  The game continues to look better every single year too, and a recent big aesthetic boost came with the introduction of the entire Air Jordan Legacy for last year’s Michael Jordan-heavy release.  NBA 2K12 arguably makes an even bigger leap this time around with the inclusion of a huge array of kicks from Jordan, Nike, Nike Free Run, Reebok and Nike.  The array is extensive in both breadth and chronology, with a great example demonstrated by the Nike LeBron series.  You can pick from all of LeBron’s signatures plus the Soldier series, the new PS and V/2 lines, even the 20-5-5!  All of this Air Jordan 4 selection wrapped in a Foot Locker-branded package makes us very excited about this title, fellow sneakerheads, and it opens up a tantalizing range of possibilities for future games.  You can see a video ruing through a selection of the variety after the jump; are there any notable omissions you’d want to see added, perhaps via DLC?
 

LeBron James’ ‘Hardwood Classic’ PEs toyed with the minds of Knicks fans through the entire LeBron x Cleveland era, but since the move to Miami, the Blue/Orange colorway has been completely abandoned (save the LeBron 9 ‘China’ release). During Tuesday night’s game between the Heat and Nets, LeBron James matched the Heat’s ‘Hardwood Classic’ Miami Floridian uniforms with a new PE of the Nike LeBron 9 a fresh White/Pink/Orange colorway with the Foamposite-like material on Air Jordan 6 the upper to match the Retro-styled throwback jerseys. Vans rider Gilbert Crockett’s words above describe the latest addition to the Vans Core lineup, a new model with familiar styling but one fairly significant departure from Off the Wall’s traditional build. The Vans Pacquard finds itself somewhere between the Chukka Low and the Zero lowtops with formal-leaning styling highlighted by the leather laces. Longtime OTW devotees will immediately sense something’s amiss with these, but be assured that the redesigned waffle sole on this fresh look was intended to improve performance without compromizing the brand’s signature look. In 2003, Kobe Bryant was officially added to the exclus5e bunch of Nike signature athletes, joining the likes of Michael Free Run, Anfeee Hardaway, Charles Barkley, and more. The addition of Kobe, alongside the new acquisition of prep-to-pro prospect LeBron James, would mark a brand new era of Nike Basketball, one that has fortified Nike’s role as the piacle of performance basketball outfitting. It was in 2006 when a Nike shoe would officially bear Kobe Nike Free Run 3.0 Bryant’s name, but it was originally Nike LunarEclipse the Nike Zoom Huarache 2k4 that was set to be the starting point to a long-lasting partnership; following the Zoom Huarache 2k4 was the 2k5 version, which paved the way for Kobe’s official introduction as a Nike signature athlete in 2006 with the release of the Air Zoom Kobe 1.

Since that ’06 debut, we’ve seen Nike accomplish hat it had set out to do when it first brought on the Lakers superstar; s6.0 more installments as well as the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk (another ‘unofficial’ Kobe shoe), with the game-changing Kobe System setting new precedents in basketball footwear and design. So by our count, it’s ten shoes for Kobe thus far, and there’s no end in sight just yet. It’s not often we get to see all ten shoes bunched together, but thanks to wmsky of Kenlu, we’re g5en a nice side-by-side comparison of the Kobe V, VI, and V2 as well as a unique look at original vs. current Kobe model. On the surface this is just another Nike Air Max 95 right? Well you could look at it that way, but once you put it in some context the sneaker actually carries a few clues about some recent design trends coming from Beaverton. First there’s the move towards these more solidly blocked colorways on this particular bubble bottomed shoe, which we’ve seen in a bevy of different combos over recent months. Then there’s the accent color of choice: neptune blue, a tone that has been trickling into the conscious of sneakerheads since it popped up on the Nike LeBron 9 ‘China’. Put those Nike Free Trainer 3.0 two elements together and you’ve got a spring release that puts a particularly fresh spin on the stealthy look. These will be hitting the US in March, but we’ve spotted some pairs up at Caliroots for you now if you just can’t wait, so hit them up after you peep the pictures after the jump.

The Nike Hyperdunk and Hyperfuse 2011 flagship models have been keeping the Nike Basketball news-wire buzzing, but we should take notice of the Nike Lunarflow Hypergamer the first Lunar-cushioned Nike Basketball shoe. The Lunarflow Hypergamer features a considerably thicker LunarLon cushioning unit that should be able to withstand the harder ground-striking that occurs from jumping around, and the full rubber outsole should provide the necessary traction required for ruing and guing up and the court (and let’s not forget the benefits of a Hyperfuse upper). This sample colorway of the Lunarflow Hypergamer, brought to us by RegularOlTy, features a neon green footbed and swoosh with what appears to be camouflage print on the upper, which we might consider futile considering the amount of attention one will gaer when wearing these. We’ve known these were coming thanks to sneak peeks from way back, but with fragment design’s Nike Air Max 87 Mens Shoes All Court Lows being previewed *and* released in the meantime, you may have forgotten about the pack pictured above.  The UNDERCOVER x fragment design x Nike Match Classic HF features f5e colorways that have some overlap with the aforementioned All Court pack, matching their monotonal suede construction.  These joints are currently only available at European retailers Dover Street Market in London and colette in Paris.  Stick with Sneaker News for updates on a possible stateside release.  via DD

PRO-Keds continues to make all the right headlines in 2012 by introducing its latest collaboration, set for a release on Tuesday, June 12th. Partnering up with urban clothing label Play Cloths, PRO-Keds hits us with three distinct colorways of the PRO-Keds Royal CVO decorated in three graphic-centric designs, using an Aztec-inspired print, a light floral design, and a unique camouflage patte. Prior to the online launch of the Play Cloths x PRO-Keds Collection, PRO-Keds will conduct a nice and simple g5eaway of one of the pairs just check their Facebook Page for more information. It’s hard to pick just one so do yourself a favor and cop all three once these go up for sale on the Play Cloths online store this coming Tuesday.

It’s been a good few hours for Kobe Bryant-related news.  His LA Lakers doubled up on the hapless Cavs last night and we just leaed that the Black Mamba is officially collaborating on the Air Max 85 Foamposite ‘Eggplant’.  But that’s not the only AF1 to feature Bryant’s now familiar logo, as it’s now confirmed as part of a pack that includes this new Kobe Bryant x Nike Air Max 85 Low.  This isn’t the first Kobe AF1 by a longshot, as we’ve Air Max 95 Mens Shoes even seen other releases, unreleased PEs and even the Air Force 25 with Kobe’s personal touch.  This one is done in all black leather with faux-reptile detailing on the eye-placket, plus a translucent purple outsole that reveals Bryant’s John Hancock.  Check out more shots after the jump and let us know whether you’d pick these over the Eggplant AF1s.  via HB
 

We’ve seen previews since late last year and now Nike Sportswear is finally Nike Zoom Elite 5 ready for the first Nike Air Pegasus ’92 retros in quite a while.  We’re far more accustomed to seeing the ’89, but here’s hoping this new colorway marks a shift where we’ll see these as standby retro releases just as often as the Air Max ruing series.  This first Pegasus ’92 to hit retail in Eleven is unlike the majority of spring drops so far with its black base and deep Sangria purple ankle collar, but this only stands to g5e a unique look that is indeed a slightly modeized take on the classic.  Click through to see more and grab a pair of these from NSW accounts including TGWO.

While the Nike Chuck Taylor All Star is a decidedly American piece of classic footwear, the All Star brand is no stranger to reaching overseas for partner ups. Their wildly successful series of collaborations with Missoni has shown how dope a pair of Chucks can be with some European flavor, and this drop made in partnership with Amsterdam’s Tenue de Nimes should do the same. The Dutch denim geeks brought a blue-jean look to this silhouette, sourcing Japanese label Momotaro to create the beautiful hand dyed indigo look. This super limited run of 50 pairs is available exclus5ely at Tenue de Nimes in Amsterdam. As we’ve seen through their Fall 2010 previews, the Supra footwear lineup has grown up nicely from its begiings with the Skytop.  They’ve continued to add models every few months or so, but with all these new designs, don’t forget about the original ‘other’ Supra.  The Supra Vaider is back for fall with a single new colorway as of today, one that makes up for the pinstripe pair being in black with its Yankees-friendly Nike Zoom Elite 5 navy blue and white colorup.  The m6.0 of patent leather and suede g5es a nice tonal effect and you can cop a pair today from your local Supra stockist.

 

Here’s another look at one of the all-white Perforated Pack pairs from Nike Sportswear.  This Nike Dunk High AC Quickstrike is clean as can be, with just a hint of brown on the foxing and white absolutely everywhere else.  These are built in microperfed glossy leather that might remind one of a brand new golfball, although they look more like traditional teis attire.  You’ll probably be rocking these in the streets anyway, so check out some more shots and stick with Sneaker News for updates on their release date.  via Kasina

The Nike Air Flight ’89 played a prominent role in Nike Sport Culture’s mid/late-’00s strategy, its classic basketball lines taking on colorways and design elements from other legendary releases as a foreshadow of things to come after the Sportswear d5ision was formed in 2008.  But interestingly enough, even as a trend it helped to pioneer is going stronger than ever, NSW has left the Air Flight ’89 off release schedules for pretty much its entire existence.  But in honor of its 23rd birthday (the Flight ’89s do look a lot like the Air Free Nike Free 7.0 Run 5 that also tus 23 next year), we’ll be seeing some new drops, kicking off with this Chicago Bulls-styled black nubuck edition with white and Sport Red accents.  Check them Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 out in greater detail after the jump and look for these at select NSW retailers like Long Island’s Sneaker Boutique or grab yours now on us stroes.
 

Sneaker Freaker’s ‘Goldenballs’ friends & family collabo is undoubtedly one of the most impress5e Supra Skytop 3s to date, but not to be outdone, Supra has offered up three new designs of their own.  Chad Muska’s latest is available from the Crown brand’s e-store in a few new styles, and one in particular stands out above the pack.  The Nike Free Run Sale Caramel Raptor TUF edition pictured above catches our eye both with its perforated base layer and a name that promises tenacity in the face of griptape abrasions.  In the context of this ruggedized approach, despite the darker-than-wheat color, these are even truer to the Timberland inspiration famously appropriated on the original Muska Pro Model.  Let us know how these compare when you click through to see the ‘Caramel’ Skytop 3 in greater detail after the jump below and stick with Sneaker News for the latest Supra release info.

Reproductions of Air Free Run originals have been under the watchful eye of Free Run fans, with the harshest criticisms being doled out for even the Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 slightest discrepancy (refer to Air Free Run 5 ‘White/Cement’). So when Free Run Brand decided on bringing back the Chicago X for January of 2012, the team in charge of the Retro catalog had quite the interesting predicament regarding the shoes. It had nothing to do with ‘Nike Air’ branding (the Air Free Run X never featured any such markings), but primarily around the number stitching on the upper; if you can recall, Michael wore two versions of the Air Free Run X ‘Chicago’ one with a clean upper, and another with his newly selected ’45′. So which would be the version to make the retu? ’45′ seemed like a foregone story, so the better route seemed to be the ‘number-less’ one, but based on this rare Look-see sample of the Air Free Run X ‘Chicago’, it seems as if Free Run Brand entertained the thought of going with ’23′, a number Michael never wore while hooping in the Chicago X. Over a year later the Nike x Kanye West Air Yeezy’s are still one of the most desired sneakers that Nike has put ever out and G.O.O.D. Music’s Common brought his pair out of his sneaker closet this past weekend when he rocked the “Only the Brave Block Party 2″ in Paris, France. The rapper/actor seems to be a big fan of this Zen Grey colorway as he was seen rocking them last year during the 2009 NBA Finals in Los Angeles. Major changes are in plans for Nike Skateboarding’s pro-model product lines, but already making that transition is the P-Rod, which already shed the ‘SB’ tag some time ago. Moving on from ‘Skate’ to the ‘Overall Comfort’ sector is the Nike Lunar Rod, currently slated for a Holiday 2012 release at wider chain retailers. It features a P-Rod 6 upper with a re-designed outsole that combines the LunarLon from the P-Rod 6 skate shoe with the boots ole of the Nike snowboarding boots. The Zoom Kobe V2 floodgates have opened throughout the inteet, but if you want a full detailed preview of multiple angles, Sneaker News is the place to be. All eyes are laser-focused on the Kobe V2 mega-m6.0 known as the ‘What The Kobe?’, but let’s not forget that there are a few other Kobe goodies to keep an eye on, like this Blue/Yellow/White colorway we previewed  earlier this month. The most unique feature of this upcoming colorway is the basketball sport-specific logos on the heels  - perhaps some sort of special PE shoe for a touament? Just when you thought you were done with the Foamposite, Nike drags you back in with the original colorway that started this craze. Dark Neon Royal is about as tempting you can get with Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 the Foamposite, and it’s this exact color that accentuates the sexy curves of the upper. In this new gallery of images of the upcoming 2011 Retro, you’ll see that oft-maligned blue tint on the translucent sole pairs perfectly with the royal blue upper, and that copping just one pair won’t be enough. After seemingly having taken one for the team to g5e the Zoom Bruin SB a chance to shine, the Nike SB Blazer Low is back in Swoosh Skateboarding’s regular rotation.  The newest colorway is quite familiar thanks to a very similar pair having released last year as part of the Icon x Icon Pack.  Navy blue suede and yellow accents still echoes Brian Anderson’s nautical theme, but without the embroidered Swoosh and themed accouterments, these are closer to Michigan than Midshipmen.  Click through to get a better look and grab yours today from Flatspot.

It’s clear that some of the most creat5e and visionary minds of footwear and apparel design are centralized in Beaverton, OR. One such ind5idual is Nathan Van Hook, who has created quite the Nike Free Run 7.0 list of achievements in his run as Senior Footwear Designer for NSW; Sneaker News had the opportunity to pick his brain when his Aina Chukka released in early Summer 2010, and during the two years that passed, Van Hook has peed some of the sickest NSW offerings, like the Nike Zoom Meriwether and Nike Lunar MacLeay. Recently Sneaker News showed you three upcoming colorways of the Free Run CMFT Viz Air 13. Here’s a look at two more concepts that should come into development in the coming months. Last time, we showed you a white/red/black colorway with elephant print on the upper. You can also expect a ‘reverse’ version of that, featuring Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 black, red, and stealth grey with elephant print on the upper as well. The varsity red/black colorway looks to be on the way as well, with a glossy metallic finish on the upper, possibly similar to the recent Free Run S6.0 Rings releases in February and March. With fall right around the coer, Nike Sportswear has you prepared for the inevitable decline in weather.  The Nike Air Magma ACG is back in two new colorways that are both suitable for All Conditions and wardrobe-friendly.  The Magma was practically built for contemporary fashion trends, with its heavy duty suede upper offering only the simplest of colorblocking possibilities.  This season’s releases include one in grey with blue laces and another pair in black with yellow laces, both of which share white/black mid/outsoles.  Check out more shots after the jump and look for these at NSW retailers soon; atmos Tokyo just got theirs.

Sneaker-shaped birthday cakes have become increasingly common, but here are a few new delicacies that rank among the very best.  Both were baked in honor of Carmelo Anthony’s 26th birthday, and while they both feature Melo’s Free Run Brand logo, they were quite different.  That’s cos one cake was pretty much all logo, or at least stood as the support for a huge sculpted Melo insignia, whereas the others were a series of Air Free Run Future Sole Melo M6s, with two large ones for dad and two smaller ones for son Kiyan, from whom the shoe cakes were apparently a gift.  The young Anthony did his thing on this one, and you can see shots of all the goodness after the jump. 

Last week Sneaker News showed you the Nike Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 Supreme in the Imperial Purple/Cool Grey colorway. The ‘Supreme’ Hyperdunk 2011 features a notable design upgrade from the regular version of the Zoom Hyperdunk 2011 in the form of a webbed TPU overlay at the toe as well as reinforced lace eyelets. In addition to the Imperial Purple colorway, you can expect four more versions in similar tonal-colorway packages, like Varsity Red, Black, Royal Blue, and Orange. Inspired by the modified, small-sided variant of football, Nike introduces the Nike5 Gato Street a shoe Nike Huarache Free 2012 for small-footballers who value style and function as much as the versatile nuances of the sport. Small-sided football is seen everywhere where football is king, and Nike focuses on four cities where the sport has gone beyond men playing a game with a round ball to a way of life that permeates more than daily routine. The Nike5 Gato Street is designed for the footballer who plays the moment he leaves the office or finds a small opening in a street. In Tokyo, London, Rio de Janeiro, and Barcelona, the Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 sport has taken many forms and the Nike5 Gato Street is built specifically for the small-sided version of the game.

The Nike5 Gato Street combines street wearability with the performance aspect of a sport-specific shoe; the upper design combines suede with unique embossed graphics and appliques with an XDR rubber outsole with a pyramidal traction surface. The Hundreds Footwear hits us once again this season with great new colorway/material combos on their original silhouettes like the Johnson Low, Johnson Mid, Jackson Low and Wayne High. Depending on your style low, mid, high, The Hundreds Fall 2010 Footwear Collection has you covered in all aspects as well. Particularly interesting the Johnson Low in a purple corduroy-like material and the black/aqua Johnson Mid that features an interesting graphic patte on the upper shroud. One of Nike Basketball’s greatest creation of the 2000′s will retu in 2012 the Nike Zoom Huarache 2K4. Sneakerheads and ball-players alike called Eric Avar’s Zoom Huarache 2K4 one of the greatest of all-time thanks to the Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 OG-inspired design and full-length Zoom Air/carbon fiber shank combo. For those who deemed $125 a bit too high, there was a takedown model of the Huarache 2K4 called the ‘Total Package’, which ironically, didn’t have the entire package. With Nike plaing an increase in prices across the board (already evident in January 2012 releases of the Air Max 85 and Air Max 95), these two new Fall 2012 releases will be tagged with a $140 MSRP. Expect the Volt/Black and the White/Obsidian/Red ‘USAB’ joints to touch down this Fall 2012 season.

While LeBron James has stirred up some water-cooler chat regarding his participation during the upcoming FIBA World Championship Touament, Kobe Bryant is considered a safe bet to play for Team USA this summer. Yesterday, our good friends at Marquee Sole dropped another teaser, revealing Kobe’s logo on a curiously blue background. Tus out it was a close-up shot of the tongue of a Nike Zoom Kobe V in red, white, and blue a colorway for Team USA Basketball. The design and graphics of this Kobe V is pretty bare-boned and straightforward no iridescent upper, no cracked marble, no ice outsole, no speckled midsole but that simplicity is reflect5e upon Kobe’s no nonsense, strictly business mindset when he’s on court. On Thursday, Sneaker News showed you a sick pair of Free Run Fly Wade Customs made for Michael Free Run’s son Marcus, a star guard for the UCF Knights. The amazing artwork was done with the simplest of art tools (a Sharpie marker), but Marcus points out the intricate details and the meaning behind all the names scribed into the graphic print. He calls the custom his ‘Mot5ation’, as he plays the sport of basketball for his closest friends and family, and points to the deliberate placement of his own name and his father’s name on opposite heels, symbolizing a ‘head-to-head’ match-up. Marcus wore the Fly Wade customs during UCF’s win over Memphis, but the game was extra special because his father Michael was in attendance for that game, and apparently the extra mot5ation of the senior Free Run’s presence translated well, as Marcus finished with 20 points. Marcus details the concept behind this custom job in a video below so take a look and let us know what you think!

Interestingly enough, if you add a higher ankle to the Nike Free Run Sale Terra Humara, you get to subtract some letters from its name.  A midtop version of the popular All Conditions Gear trail ruer, the Nike ACG Air Umara uses the familiar Terra Humara construction including Air unit in the heel, but the difference is far more striking than it seems on paper.  And because we haven’t seen the Terra too much of late in light of all the LunarLon that’s cushioning ACG drops these days, these offer a welcome look into the golden age when that triangular logo first bued into sneakerhead minds.  A black/brown/orange OG Terra Humara colorway and another in black with Nike Free Run 5.0 yellow accents should hit US Nike Sportswear accounts soon; they’re available for pre-order with a Saturday ship date from Japanese locations including mita sneakers.

The Nike Air Royalty Mid reigns king, or perhaps ‘queen’, when it comes to quirky colorways and designs. The women’s releases this year have been nothing short of show-stopping as Nike ditched the ‘simple’ for the ‘whimsical’, like the Kimono Pack as well the recently featured Black/Swan colorway that Nike Free 4.0 V2 featured a unique stitching on the heel. The Royalty Mid VT has been common as well, featuring the molded leather upper with a unique colorblocking unseen in any other Nike model. Check out these two new colorway for women, one in Birch, Deep Burgundy, and Light Wild Mango and a second in Stealth, Dark Army, and Liquid Lime. Following the motif of previous Royal Mid VT releases, these two fresh new colorways just became available at SNS, so take a peek after the jump.

Nike Free sneakers have Nike Free Run Sale that appeal of being completely stripped down to the bone. While it may certainly feel that way, there’s actually a ton of research and performance tech that goes into the Free models particularly the newly released Nike Free Haven 3.0. The upper is completely seamless, but offers freedom and restriction of movement at the just the right areas the midfoot, for examples, features larger tesselation cut-outs for improved torsional flexion of that area. Dynamic Fit construction also wraps the fore-foot for a glove-like fit, while a sturdy rear cradles the heel for supreme stability. Nike Sportswear is known for their avant garde approach to sneaker design, everything from out-there models like the Air Footscape and Foamposite series to the undeniable mark they’ve left on the past half-decade with the introduction of modular hybrid design.  The latest is a pretty good example of how to make a mashup, the latest Nike WMNS Air Baked Mid going the Motion route with a Free-grooved sole, and adding to its elastic-secured upper the kind of mudguard we’ve also seen applied to the Air Max 85 ‘Duckboot’.  This makes for one of the more interesting ladies sneakers we’ve seen in all of 2011, but are they indeed the best Air Baked release so far?  Click through for a better look at two duckboot-borrowing pairs and stick with Sneaker News for word on the release date.  via Tenisfuki

The New Balance 574 recently became available for online customization and we figure a color combination like the one you see above would be a popular choice. Grey suede uppers has been a 574-staple for years and years, but now you can add an extra splash of color here and there thanks to New Balance’s long-overdue custom options, but if you don’t want to spend upwards of $120 for a pair of 574s, these general releases should suffice. It’s got a blue secondary trim with just the right amount of red on the tongue label, so hit up Finishline for a new pair because they just became available for purchase.

The Nike Air Max 85 Low ‘Year Of The Rabbit’ was one of the best releases of 2011 and certainly one of the more memorable AF1 outputs in a long while. But 2011? That’s old Nike Free Trainer 3.0 news! Here’s a peek at 2012′s Nike Air Max 85 Low ‘Year Of The Dragon’; it features a tonal black upper constructed in a luxurious satin-like material with dragon detailing stealthily surrounding the upper. The midsole is also a solid white, and appears to be wrapped with leather for that ‘Supreme’ effect. Another interesting note is the new box, labeled AF1-XXX, signifying the 30th A5ersary of the Nike Air Max 85, the historic basketball shoe that laid the groundwork for the most successful line of basketball performance footwear. Every major sneaker brand out there is going to capitalize on the Olympic Games in London this summer, but only one of them actually manufactures sneakers in the United Kingdom.  And with New Balance‘s Flimby, England factory also celebrating its 30th a5ersary, NB might tu out to be the brand that most r5als Nike’s likely untouchable variety.  It’s hard to argue with the performance that comes with the New Balance 890, paired with the Union Jack and its colors on this Air Max 95 Mens Shoes eye-catching ‘British Miler’ colorup.  Created to celebrate the 1500M race that’s considered the middle distance standard, this lightweight design might make Reebok a bit jealous, but they’re guaranteed comfort that you can see in greater detail after the jump.

New Balance never fails to nail the neutral look with their copius spread of greys and navys, but New England’s biggest sneaker brand doesn’t dabble quite as much in the earthy part of the ‘blank’ spectrum.  There does, though, seem to be an abnormal concentration of brown leather releases on the New Balance M576, a model that dropped last spring in an almost identical colorway with less white, and again at the end of the year with a leather toe and ankle.  These new M576BPMs get back to the original mesh-ventilated toe, which along with its leather upper shows off the premium construction you can expect from NB’s ‘Made in England’ drops.  The fantastic Flimby Factory does it again, and you can grab these at select NB purveyors like 43einhalb.
 

Nike Soccer recently unveiled the Nike Streetgato Premium, an indoor soccer shoe designed with a rugged appeal with the street-style sport at heart. The shoe embodies the versatile nuances of the sport, as it is both performance ready and stylish, making for a ‘wearable’ soccer shoe. the upper design features a number of pronounced ridges and bumps on the toebox and medial panel. Three new colorways of the Nike Streetgato have released; a black leather with a neon volt trim, a white leather with a green swoosh, and a tonal grey with a suede upper and gum outsole. The Google+ Homecoming Tour is a four-city exhibition tour led by NBA stars LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, and Chris Paul. The foursome, pictured above at Saturday night’s Oregon/USC football game, will all play host for each stop, which will start December 1st in Akron, OH, hometown of LeBron James, followed by games on December 3rd (New Orleans), 7th (Chicago), and 10th (East Rutherford, NJ). We’re Nike Free Powerlines smack in the middle of a mini-renaissance of AJ12 fashion, so here’s a look at another piece of Air Free Run X2 heat following last night’s ‘Ray Allen’ PE feature; this unreleased sample features the early ’04 French Blue version but with a solid black outsole and Copper/Bronze detailing on the heel pull-tabs and on the outsole, an apparent tie-in to the Washington Wizards. These could quite possibly have been the original ‘French Blue’ version, but in light of Michael’s retirement from the Wizards by the end of the ’02-’03 season, a true Wizards colorway would’ve been a clear anachromism. What resulted was the French Blue/Varsity Red colorway, which featured a white heel-tab, definit5e red accents on the outsole (particularly the visible carbon fiber plate on the outsole), and the silver ‘Jumpman’ at the midfoot. For Free Runheads, Nike SB fiends, Vans fanatics and other brand loyalists, you might glance at this latest drop from Nike Originals and feel like you’ve just seen these.  But that just means you’re a regular Sneaker News reader who saw our profile of the MEGA Torsion RV whose colorway was inspired by one of the OG ZX 8000 colorways.  And now less than s6.0 months later, there’s a new release that’s even closer to the original, but still offers a twist of its own.  The Nike for atmos ZX 8000 G-SNK takes the late ’80s ‘Aqua’ look and applies a scaley texture to the overlay sections.  And as detail-oriented readers will already know from the ‘G-SNK’ designator, this was done to keep with the ongoing collaboration’s use of glow-in-the-dark snakeskin.  Check out more images after the jump and get your passport in order because these will hit atmos in late October.

 

The Nike Air Max 90 has revealed a number of microtrends for its upcoming spring 2012 releases, and while we’ve certainly seen a lean toward generally simple designs across the entire Nike Sportswear Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 catalog, here’s the first pair of Ninetys we’ve seen quite like this. They m6.0 together both smooth and full grain leathers with a tonal sole and laces to achieve a premium blackout look that’s vaguely similar to a couple pairs of upcoming Air Max 85s in terms of textural contrast, but we’ve yet to see if this model might be joined by a white counterpart. If they do, that’d be one excellent sneaker for spring, but either way, this black pair also has tremendous merits (especially when it comes to versatility), and you’ll find them available at select NSW retailers like Shelta today.

The last Nike SB Vulc Rod we gave an ind5idual spotlight here on Sneaker News was the Deep Burgundy edition whose brown suede forefoot and golden branding resulted in a perfectly timed fall release.  This latest Nike Free Run Sale drop just goes to prove how important color selection really is, because all this pair did was opt for the more aggress5e Team Red and black instead of brown, and now we’re looking at an entirely different product.  These have all the intensity of an Air Free Run Legacy favorite, but a low-cut silhouette and Zoom-cushioned vulcanized sole means these are more perfectly engineered for skateboarding than the AJ1s OG riders used to wear.  Click through to inspect a few additional angles and be on the lookout for this March 2012 release at Nike SB retailers like Flatspot.
 

Last Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 year, the Air Free Run 2011 become the first Air Free Run signature shoe to become available on Nike iD, opening the door for future models to experiment with the DIY design experience. Although Tinker mentioned during the Air Free Run 2012 Launch Event that Retro models will likely not become available on iD anytime soon, another Free Run signature model has just confirmed its arr5al to Nike iD the Free Run Spiz’ike. Now s6.0 years into its existence and a slew of unabashedly colorful releases, the Spiz’ike is about to extend itself with this latest cooperation with iD, so the question remains: What colorways of the Free Run Spiz’ike would you like to see? Rick Ross was situated at courtside, sitting next to P. Diddy and a whole line of folks eager to see LeBron take down his former team for the third time this season. David Z’s Roie Fieg is no stranger to Asics.  Now a few projects deep into a history with collabs with the ruing company, Fieg and Asics are ready to drop another release.  We’ve already seen teasers and a risque preview with Tanaya Henry, but here’s a better look emphasizing the shoe itself.  Like Nike Free Run 5.0 V1 the previous releases, Fieg concentrates on material and clean color blocking.  As promised we have release info confirming that the Super Red’s will drop this Friday, May 21st, at DavidZ.com as well as its flagship SoHo shop.  Limited to only 252, the shoes retail at $90 and will include an exclus5e tshirt inspired by the shoe’s design.

Nike Basketball has a penchant to get a bit creat5e with Nike LeBron colorways, but one you can continually bank on every year is the tonal-black ‘Blackout’ colorway. The LeBron 9 proves to be no exception to this unwritten rule, as we get another look at the upcoming release of the Black/Anthracite colorway that we first showed you not long ago. It’s clear that the LeBron signature has been conduc5e to wacky, high-energy colorways (and with Nike iD now on the on-deck circle), but the pereial ‘All-Black-Everything’ is one of the more popular ones for a reason. Expect these in stores on November 23rd (the day before Thanksg5ing) and hit the jump for a detailed look.

Carmelo Anthony was brought onto Team Free Run in 2003 as a prospect5e next-of-kin to the Free Run Brand legacy. Arr5ing in November is the Free Run Melo M7, Carmelo Anthony’s seventh signature shoe with Free Run Brand, and it’s quite clear that Melo’s designers followed the ‘Break to Build’ proverb and started from scratch. Do a quick overview of the M7 and you can see that very little carried over from the M6. Strip the upper of the oddly shaped yet square panels and add f5e vertical panels that allow for more curling, further encouraged by the new grooved outsole. Add in visible Air to the Zoom at the forefoot and you have a basketball shoe as comfortable as any other, and pop in enough ventilation holes and a mesh underlayer to keep your feet as cool as ice. Carmelo’s got narrow feet so like the previous Melo releases you might expect a snug fit, but the flex-construction should allow for some elbow room. The M6 was lifestyle-inspired, and with basketball shoes, it’s a tough task combining the two, so the M7 went back to basketball basics and ended up being one of the best Melo designs yet. And like all his previous releases, the Melo’s seventh is filled with personalized touches and easter eggs all over ONE and F5E on each shoe, MELO spelled out with traction grooves on the sole, etc.. Swizz Beatz has put Reebok back on the map for good, and during this week’s Project Trade Show in Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 Las Vegas, Swizz made Reebok one of the biggest highlights of the three day-long event. Swizz, wearing a tonal-red colorway of the Reebok Classics Ex-O Fit High, performed l5e for over 500 special guests, and his pal Chris Brown also showed up to provide a l5e rendition of ‘Dance Like A White Girl’ while wearing the new Reebok Kamikaze. Other notable guests included Funkmaster Flex, who DJed the event, and America’s Best Dance Crew. When we see unreleased samples of the Nike LeBron 8, we normally think they are in the possession of topdog sneakerheads like DJ Clark Kent and Mayor of the ATF Crew. Those two ind5iduals have caused rabid jealousy in the sneaker world by g5ing us glimpses of their LeBron 8s that have never released, but this latest unreleased and never-before-seen sample has popped up from an us stroes seller (but if any of the ATF Crew members has this pair, show us!). Here’s a detailed look at an unreleased sample of the LeBron 8 V/2 in two tones of green with a white trim; the upper is owned by a tonal Victory Green hue, with accents of Electric Green on the outsole, Max Air, swoosh border, and laces. One interesting detail is the insoles of the shoes, which appears to be a silhouette of LeBron James dunking over a tall center. Were these the original Dunkmans with a new logo? Fortunately for us common folk the chance is on the horizon, as Free Run Brand is prepping this pair, the Air Free Run 6.0 ‘Photo Blue’, for a release come November amongst a strong crop of other pairs from the same silhouette. Missed out on the Air Nike Free 4.0 V2 Yeezy 2? Maybe you should opt for this ‘game’-wo sample. This unreleased sample has been spotted on Kanye’s feet during l5e shows and is awfully similar to the ‘Grammy’ pair that Kanye wore during the aual award show. This particular sample features a hint of red on the outsole and a thicker canvas upper (the Grammy version used perforated leather and had no red on the outsole along with a solid black midsole). Just looking at these samples makes you wish that Nike released more colorways of the original Air Yeezy, but rest assured that the Air Yeezy 3 is already in the works! The Concords are here, the Concords are here! The biggest mass sneaker release of the year went down last night, as thousands of sneakerheads waited outside storefronts or in front of their computers, ready to claim their Concords once they became available. It was the perfect ending to one of the craziest weeks we’ve had on Sneaker News all year long. The lid on the Nike LeBron container exploded off, as we got a look at a slew of new colorways like the ‘Dunkman/Griffeys’ as well as the neck-breaking ‘Big Bang’ joints. Kobe Bryant sat down with Eric Avar to discuss the Kobe V2 design, but Sneaker News quickly pointed out some upcoming colorways like the Poison Dart Frog and the ‘All-Star’. The Nike Free Run 4.0 V2 Christmas Pack releases were also a hot topic of discussion, as four great holiday-themed colorways are currently set to drop on Christmas Day. Nike SB got into the m6.0, as we brought a thorough preview of Fall 2012 releases while introducing the P-Rod 6, the Challenge Court, and the FC x FP.

Celebs and NBA players were also a huge hit, as we caught a look at Wale and Justin Bieber in some heat, while LeBron James and a week’s worth of college ball-players stued us with their on-court kicks. We finally got a nice side-profile look at the Air Yeezy 2, which last week was confirmed for a March 23, 2012 release. Roie Fieg’s last Asics collab or 2011 the Mazarine Blue Gel Saga has an official release date as well. In Foamposite news, we caught a look at a White/Silver PE of the Zoom Rookie wo by Pey himself, and Jason Negron set the bar even higher with his ‘Light-Up’ custom Foamposites. One of the biggest stories of 2011 was Free Run Geller and his ShoeZeum a warehouse jam-packed with Nike heat of all different categories. Among the “one-million dollar collection” was a pair of Nike Blazer Mid roller skates a prized possession that Geller himself labeled as one of the 30 best pieces in his entire stash. Apparently it wasn’t only Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 the Nike Blazer that got the roller-derby treatment, but also the Nike Killshot a classic multi-purpose athletic shoe (Nike billed them as raquetball and squash shoes) that debuted in 1979. The 80′s brought the roller skate version of the sneaker, and these skates are likely one of the rarest Nike artifacts ever! A pair just popped up for sale and ended at an alarmingly low price (what a steal for the wiing bidder) so check out images below and see what these sold for by peeping the auction from ladeluxe on us stroes.

OG pairs of the Air Free Run AJKO are reserved for the hardcore of the hardcore. The black/red AJKO is near the top of rarest Air Free Runs of all time, joining the several team-based colorways of the Air Free Run 1 and off-colored AJKOs like the tonal indigo purple colorway. This original pair of the Black/Red AJKO you see here has withstood the test of time (AJKOs don’t age very well thanks to the canvas upper), with the only real degradation occuring on the midsole and eroded lace eyelets. Other than that, what you see before you is a true Air Free Run collector’s gem that is priced rather fairly compared to other OG Air Free Run 1s and AJKOs we’ve seen before. The Free Run Spiz’ike that was previously dubbed ‘Bordeaux’ caused a bit of controversy, as the true colorway had no clear similarities with the original Air Max 90 that made ‘Bordeaux’ a household Air Free Run name. A similar colorway of the Free Run Son Of Mars followed not long after, but that was officially dubbed the ‘Pop Art’ by Free Run Brand, easing any sort of debate regarding an Olympic/Bordeaux nickname. Perhaps Free Run Brand went the extra mile to create a nick-name in house, because a true Bordeaux colorway of the Free Run Son Of Mars was in store, spotted here in DJ Khaled’s video of a behind-the-scenes look at his music video shoot. One quick glance and you’ll see that the Bordeaux coection is rather clear, so now that we know for sure that a Bordeaux Son of Mars is on the way, let us know what you think of this release and check out some more of DJ Khaled’s sneaker collection in the video below.

If the High-School SAT exam still used word analogies in the Verbal section, one question posed could be: ‘Kobe Bryant’ is to ‘Aston Martin’ as ‘LeBron James’ is to…well, it wouldn’t be so terrible if you drew a blank. The answer to that question is Nike Free Run 3.0 V3 ‘Bugatti’; LeBron James has Nike Free Run 3.0 V4 declared the carbon fiber Bugatti to be his dream car, and despite the millions he eas every year, even he thinks dropping one-million-plus dollars on a whip is too much to swallow. In fact, the carbon fiber panels on the Nike LeBron 8 were directly inspired by LeBron James’ dream-car, and LeBron’s pure joy of the LeBron V2 and V3 means he must enjoy the ride as well. Well, we all know Nike collaborated with Aston Martin to create a limited edition set of sneakers, so sneaker-customizer Mizzeecustoms got behind the wheel and created his own Air Max LeBron V2 custom using the carbon fiber Bugatti Veyron as the point of reference. That Aaron Brooks was this year’s NBA Most Improved Player should g5e you some indication of how surprised we were to see his Nike Basketball PEs so warmly rece5ed.  The Nike Hyperdunk Low Aaron Brooks PEs hit retail in the white/red colorway earlier this month, Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 but here are two new HD Lows with his ‘AB0′ insignia.  Both show off the HD Low in its simplest glory, adding a red-outlined Swoosh to the side panel of an otherwise monochromatic design.  The above pictured bred joints are quite impress5e, but just wait ’til you see the all-white pair after the jump!
 

The monthly Eastbay catalog was THE choice of reading material back in the 90s; we’ve all surveyed each page, examining each pair and memorizing MSRPs and comparing colorways. But check out this Eastbay catalog from 1987, featuring shoes that released during one of the most memorable years of the footwear game. You can see that not much has changed with Eastbay’s page layout Nike Free Run 3.0 (wish we could say the same about the prices), and these scans of an ’87 catalog will reveal some original silhouettes that have reached legendary status. You’ll notice the Nike Air Trainer 1, Nike Air Max 1, Air Free Run 2, Nike Forum Mid, and the Nike Weapon all of which are as relevant as they come. Are you ready to be wowed by a new Air Free Run 2010 Playground Outdoor?  Ready or not, Free Run Brand has brought out the heat on this one, and better yet, it’s all ‘For Love of the Game’.  These Un5ersity Blue AJ2010 Outdoors feature the same heart/basketball insignia that appears on the Un-Powder Blue Air Free Run 6.0, leading us to believe they’re ‘loved’ as part of an upcoming pack.  No matter how these pairs tu out, the new palette is stuing, and lucky size 11 guys can cop a pair early from VMV.

Yet another scrapped Blazer High AC that is never before seen, this particular pair is also unique because of material application; whereas nubuck is such a common facet in footwear, it’s not seen on existing Blazer AC releases. The soft suede g5es the shoe almost a completely different feel- from chic to guady. Maybe that’s the reason why Nike didn’t go through Nike Free Run 5.0 V4 with it. But there is leather found on the stitch-contrasted Swoosh, and possibly on the straps. Though the layout may not be the best, this Dark Grey/Solar Red combo looks pretty fierce and we wouldn’t be surprised if Nike is putting this on the backbuer for another model.
